Benchmarks: Enemy Territory: Quake Wars
Just like Company of Heroes and Crysis tend to favor Nvidia graphics cards, we can say that Enemy Territory Quake Wars prefers ATI-based cards. With the AA/AF settings disabled, the Visiontek Radeon HD 4870 was the fastest card in this test by a small margin. That said let's see what happens when we crank up the quality settings...
With 8xAA/16xAF enabled, the Visiontek Radeon HD 4870 was able to extend its lead over the GeForce GTX 280, allowing it to deliver the best performance at all three tested resolutions. The Radeon HD 4850 was also faster than the GeForce GTX 260 in this test.
