Benchmarks: CPU Performance

While it appears that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is happy to take your GPU and molester every last pixel out of it, it's content with letting your CPU sit back and watch in comfort.

The AMD FX-9590 isn't far off the pace of the Core i7 processors, while the FX-8350 is suprisingly close to the Core i5's.

I cannot recall the last time we tested a video game that showed absolutely no performance difference between the Core i7 clocked at 2.5GHz and 4.5GHz.

I am not sure we have ever seen a game that showed just a 2fps difference between the FX-9590 clocked at 2.5GHz and 4.5GHz.
