Intel Arc A580

Intel's Arc A580 feels like a card from a previous generation, though at least it comes priced to move. But it's not much cheaper, or much slower, than the existing Arc A750, depending on street prices.

Intel's Arc A580 may not be a clear winner over the RX 6600, but it gives us real hope for Battlemage.

Intel Arc isn't just good for gaming, it could also be used for more professional workloads like GPU-accelerated rendering and AI, like Stable Diffusion. Here the A580 can make a difference, thanks to having a lot of memory bandwidth available. Another use case is encoding, especially due to AV1. The Arc A580 is the most affordable GPU with hardware-acceleration for AV1 video encode.
