Google Pixel Watch 2

The thing that keeps me coming back to the Pixel Watch is how it looks. It's not just a functional tool for my wrist but also a stylish one that I just plain like wearing. When I actively decide not to wear one of my analog watches, I don't feel like I'm missing out on wearing something pretty. To do this and still deliver nearly everything I want in a way that works well is impressive. Here's hoping we get more ways to charge and repair it within the next year.

With the Pixel Watch 2, Google is almost there. More so than with its Pixel phones, Android smartwatches are where Google has a shot of being really good at something. And unlike Samsung, it has momentum on its side. My one concern is that should Google succeed here, it’ll start entering the Pixel Watch into the ecosystem wars.

Overall, the Pixel Watch 2 feels like a much-needed step forward for Google's already impressive smartwatch. Now that the Pixel Watch 2 has caught up to other smartwatches in key ways, I'm looking forward to seeing how Google pushes things further next year with the Pixel Watch 3.

We like the Pixel Watch 2! We had to mention the downsides, but despite all that, it's comfortable, stylish and precise with measurements, and this is just enough to keep it on our list of the best smartwatches money can buy.

The Google Pixel Watch 2 makes solid upgrades in terms of health tracking and safety tools, offering new features that might persuade the first-gen holdouts. That said, it skips out on some improvements we hoped to see.
